Strengthen CSO engagement with government by building
coalitions at all levels with a wide
range of actors through structured dialogue for meaningful participation in
domestic policies and international
processes by scaling up public authorities’ capacity to work constructively
with civil society, increasing trust and competencies for building synergistic
partnerships.
- Support
participation of CSOs and academia in regional and international events
related to climate change to enhance capacity of CSOs and enrich climate
debate at national, regional and international level
- Build capacity of parliamentarians/ legislators in supporting climate change
policies
- Use
advocacy tools to building capacity, raising awareness and disseminating
information to a wider audience about climate change impact at national,
regional and international levels.
- Improved civil society capacity to
monitor/track implementation of NCCP.
- Conduct provincial, regional and national
consultations with CSOs, academia, government officials and public
representatives to address climate change sectoral issues and make policy
recommendations
